The Caylee/Casey Anthony Case

This case is getting so involved that I cannot keep up with it and post here. There's not enough time in the day for me to read everything on this case and have an opinion to post. I have so many other things I need to do. I pray for justice for Caylee. I may post again on it later, I don't know right now.

Zenaida

On June 16, 2008 a woman walked into the leasing office of the Sawgrass Apartments interested in leasing an apartment. Every guest has to fill out a guest card. Working in the office that day was Harry Garcia. He filled out the card for the woman. For the woman's name he wrote "Zenaida Gonzale".....not Zenaida Gonzalez, or Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. He wrote "Gonzale" without the "z" on the end. On page 45 of the first document dump you can see that for yourself. The same exact document shows up again on pages 49 and 54 but there is a difference. Someone added a "z". On pages 49 and 54 the name on the guest card appears as "Zenaida Gonzalez"....notice the "z" on the end. Now, who put that there??? Why would Law Enforcement want to doctor the evidence? Do they want a better match since "Fernandez" isn't on the card? I hope there's a good explanation for that one. Zenaida's last name really does have a "z" on the end of it but Harry Garcia misspelled it on the guest card that he filled out for her. It should have remained that way.

Now Leonard Padilla (bounty hunter turned armchair detective) said that Casey somehow saw that guest card and that's where Casey came up with the name "Zenaida" for the nanny. Not so fast, Leo. How did Casey come up with Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez from the name on the guest card being Zenaida Gonzale? The guest's name is actually Zenaida Gonzalez. There is no Fernandez in her name. The first time Casey accused Zenaida of abducting Caylee was in the 911 call where she gives the name of "Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez" as the abductor. She did not merely say Zenaida Gonzalez...she clearly said Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez. Now, did Casey decide to throw in a"Fernandez" and throw in a "z" at the end of "Gonzale"? It doesn't seem likely. Casey has used the name "Zani" and/or "Zenaida" before the infamous visit to Sawgrass Apartments by a Zenaida Gonzale(z). I did a search for Zenaida Gonzalez on http://anywho.com/ and came up with 12 different listings none of which resided in Orlando. Maybe that name isn't as uncommon as people have thought. I think it is just a huge fluke that a Zenaida visited the apartments on June 16, 2008.

In an interview with Shirley Plesea (Cindy Anthony's mother) at her residence in Mount Dora she told Law Enforcement that she's heard the name "Zani" for over a year, although she has never seen, met, or talked to her.

It has been suggested that Casey got the name Zani from a children's book called "Double Trouble Squared" where one of the characters is Zanny the Nanny. This book would have been too advanced for Caylee but it was released long enough ago to be a book that Casey could have checked out from the library and read herself. It could have been one of her favorite books at the time. It's been said that Casey's imaginary friend's names have come from several places.

The media has suggested that it is possible for Zani to be the code name for Xanax on the street. They speculated that Casey may have used the drug to subdue Caylee while she went out partying, hence the name, "Zani the Nanny". But the name "Zenaida" as come up as early as 2006.

Richard Grund (Casey's ex-fiance's father) states in an interview dated 9/5/08 (page 2314) that the story about "Zenaida" had not changed since early 2006. His family members watched Caylee three out of five days of the work week while Casey was trying to find a new sitter. When Richard asked Casey if she'd found a sitter yet, she replied, "Oh, yeah, I found this lady, uh, Zenaida Gonzalez...".

Casey said she has known Zani for four years and she has babysat Caylee for the last one-and-a-half to two years. That would mean that Zani started babysitting Caylee between July 2006 - January 2007....but according to Richard she told him she got a new sitter named Zenaida in early 2006 (March, April, May). So, if we give Casey and Richard a margin of error of one month then that could make sense (June 2006).

Casey has known Zenaida for four years so why didn't she employ her from the very beginning??? Guess Zani wasn't babysitting then.

Casey's jobs didn't exist, and the nanny didn't exist. So when Casey was going to "work" and left Caylee with the "nanny"...where did she really go and do, and what did she do with Caylee?

The rest of this my mind is wondering and wandering and trying to speculate on things with only so much information. Am I going off the deep end with my speculations or is it possible I could be spot on? I don't know.

Did Casey have an "under the table" job somewhere where she was paid in cash? It makes me wonder now about those porn photos that showed up on the Internet of a girl that looks a lot like Casey. I'm not saying I think it's Casey, but she could have gotten mixed up in something just as sinister. The only way for Casey to have a job like that, living at her parents home with a baby is to lie her pants off, pardon the pun, and lie she did. Since Casey is so into photography maybe she got mixed up with the wrong people. Wasn't Casey wanting to "get in shape" for a modeling job she was talking about? The underworld of photography and modeling can lead gullible people down a deep, dark path. Did she take Caylee with her and subdue her somehow? Maybe xanax or chloroform? I would hate to think of Casey "working" while Caylee is sleeping on the sofa in the next room.

Maybe someday things will be clear.

One Tree Hill & Casey Anthony Part 2

Over the holidays I saw a news report on Headline News that Casey may have gotten the idea of a nanny kidnapping Caylee from the 100th episode of One Tree Hill. I found the news article posted on http://www.crimesearchersonline.com of which I am a member. They had posted the article on their site from http://www.wftv.com. In this episode of One Tree Hill a child is abducted by his nanny.
The first thing that came to mind after reading this was my 12/10/08 entry on my blog titled "One Tree Hill & Casey Anthony". I previously stated that I thought maybe Casey had gotten some of her imaginary friends' names from the cast of One Tree Hill (read 12/10/08 entry for details). It was just a speculation on my part, but now after hearing about the storyline of the 100th episode it makes me wonder if maybe I were hitting on something that might be true. I wonder if Law Enforcement have hit on the same thing as I have?????

New Search Warrant Issured For Anthony Home

I just heard on the news that a new search warrant has been issued for the home of Cindy and George Anthony in the Casey/Caylee Anthony homicide case. They are searching for anything connecting to the crime scene in the woods off Suburban Drive in Orlando, Florida.

I just heard on the news that the crime scene on Suburban Driver near the Anthony's home has been cleared. The search for little Caylee Anthony's remains is over. They have found bones as small as pebbles in a 1 acre area. Kudos for the investigators who spent over a week on their hands and knees trying to recover as much of Caylee as possible. God bless all who have been paramount in the search, finding, and recovery of precious Caylee.

It's in the Bag!

Well, I heard tonight on the Nancy Grace show that clothes were indeed found in the bag that contains human remains and also that there was something in that bag that links the Anthony house to the crime. The remains had at one point been wrapped in some kind of bedsheet. Could that be the link? Law Enforcement has taken the sheets from Caylee's bed at the Anthony's house.
I heard that pieces of a swimsuit and a dress were also found in the bag. Are there any pictures of Caylee with this swimsuit or dress on? I know I've seen a few photos of Caylee in a swim suit.
It seems that the more facts that are released raises more questions in our desires to know even more. This case is so sad, especially during the holiday season. My prayer is that the truth be known, and justice for this innocent little child.

Immunity and Do-Overs requested for Anthonys

I'm confused here again....as usual. Brad Conway, who is now Cindy and George Anthony's attorney has requested full immunity for them. Cindy and George have admitted to conflicting statements and say they will tell the truth if they can be re-interviewed. What do they mean by conflicting statements". Which statements are conflicting? Is George saying one thing and then another, or is Cindy saying one thing and then another, or are Cindy and George's comments conflicting with each other?
Also, if the Anthony's are granted immunity and are re-interviewed does that mean anything they said before then gets thrown out? Jeez, I really hope not because at the beginning of the case George and Cindy both thought the car smelled like a decomposing body. Further more they still support the Zanny the Nanny storyline. How can they do that and be completely honest???
I'm leaning towards no do-over for the Anthony's. It's too late in the game now. The body has been found. Let the evidence speak LOUD and clear as to the what, when and where in the case of little Caylee Anthony.

Caylee Facts - Is There or Isn't There???

I have heard and read conflicting statements from the news media about the finding of little Caylee Anthony, if in fact it is her, and I believe it is.

1. A skull has been found.
2. Both skull and body(skeletal) have been found.

1. Skeletal remains have been found.
2. Partial skeletal remains have been found.

1. A skull rolled out of the bag when a meter reader kicked it.
2. A skull fell out of the bag when a meter reader picked it up.
3. The skull was found on the ground before the bag was found.

1. Found 15 houses away
2. Found 20 houses away
3. Found 1 mile away
4. Found .25 miles away
5. Found .50 miles away
6. Found .30 miles away
7. Found 2 blocks away
I understand that some of these distances could measure the same such as 2 blocks contains 15 houses in this neighborhood.

1. Clothes were found near the remains.
2. No clothes were found near the remains.

1. Remains found 20-30 feet from road
2. Remains found 50-70 feet from road

1. Remains appear to be a girl
2. Cannot identify if boy or girl

1. Rush DNA testing could have results in 72 hours.
2. Will take 10-14 days for DNA results.

Have Caylee's Remains Been Found?

The remains of a small child have been found today in Orlando in a wooded area in the Anthony's neighborhood. I've heard it to be 15 houses away, 1/4 mile away, 1/2 mile away, 3/10 mile away....it's close anyway. All indications are they're the remains of little Caylee Anthony who has been missing since June 16. It won't be confirmed until tests are done of course, but common sense tells us it's this little girl. I'm glad she has been found. Rest in peace, little Caylee.

The Anthony's on Larry King Live

Okay....I came away from this interview shaking my head. I have just heard lie after lie and backstroking. This whole interview was so lame! I can't even get into details about it here because I am so disgusted! The bottom line....Larry King did not ask the tough questions, it all seemed so rehearsed, and I could tell there were so many stipulations for the Anthony's to appear on this show....what was allowed and what wasn't. I can't go on anymore about this....sorry. I think I'm going to be sick.

One Tree Hill and Casey Anthony

I noticed in the second document dump that "One Tree Hill" was one of the search items on the Anthony computer, so I thought I'd look into the cast members of the show to see if Casey could have gotten some of her imaginary friend's names from the cast of One Tree Hill.

Jose Baez and The Today Show

Well, Jose Baez (Casey's attorney) was on the Today show this morning. He told Matt Lauer that he is looking for the best place for a fair trial. He said that Caylee is alive and that the public doesn't know the whole story, that we only know a fraction of it. He also says that Casey wants everybody to know that she is "Absolutely, 100 percent innocent". That sounds so "O.J."!!! Of course O.J.'s exact words were "Absolutely, 100 percent not guilty". ARGHHH!!!
Baez went on to say, "We'll have our day in court......"We'll be able to tell everyone the full story. Not just a fraction of it." You know, I really wish instead of saying "the full story" that he had said "the whole truth". The word "story" is even another name for a lie. A story....something made up or created.

Jailhouse Video - You say Tia, I say Kio...

I've seen some of the jailhouse videos between the Anthony's and Casey. It bothers me how Casey can't even look into the monitors at who she is having a conversation with. Casey is lying to her family even after being jailed.
Watch Casey next time the media plays the part where Cindy asks Casey if she knows or has ever heard of a "Tia Torres". Casey acts stumped. She knows exactly who her mother is talking about....she just acts like she doesn't because her mother mispronouned the name. The actual person Cindy is referring to is Kiomarie Torres Cruz. Her nickname is Kio. Let's all say it together: Tia Torres is Kio Torres. Casey probably doesn't want to even talk about Kio because she knows that she has told Kio a bunch of lies and doesn't want to be grilled on it. But, it's too obvious. If I were Cindy and I later found out that Casey indeed knows a Kio Torres and I mispronounced it as Tia Torres, I'd go to Casey and say, "You little snake! You knew exactly who I was talking about"!
I think when you catch someone in a lie you should now say, "OK now...don't tell me a "casey". Casey is now a synonym for lie.

Sweet Tiffany 2/7/1988-12/5/2008

Rest in peace my sweet Tiffany.
I haven't felt much like posting in the last several days. My cat, Tiffany died on Friday, December 5, 2008. She was 20 years, 9 months, 28 days old. She would have turned 21 on February 7, 2009. Tiffany was born deaf. I know that happens a lot with white cats. Almost 21 years ago my friend's cat had four kittens; two solid white and two solid black. I had the pick of the litter and I chose Tiffany. Of course at the time I didn't know she was deaf. After I found out she couldn't hear I was so thankful that I had chosen her. She has been a constant companion and loved unconditionally. This photo was taken of her in 2008. Her little body just couldn't hold on any longer. I love her and I miss her.

Queen of Denial and Princess Liar

In the past I have stated that nothing surprises me anymore. Well, I'll have to eat my words because the more I see, hear, and read about the Anthony case, the more royally shocked I become.
Cindy Anthony is the Queen of Denial. And it didn't happen overnight. Who knows how long she has been in denial about everything pertaining to Casey. One example is the time Casey borrowed $250.00 from then fiance Jesse Grund and repaid him with a bad check. Cindy's justification was "well, she only did it once". Cindy's picture should be next to the word "denial" in the dictionary.
Another prime example of this denial is when Cindy, George, and Casey showed up at Cindy's brother's (Rick Plesea's) wedding. Rick said that when he saw Casey "she had a tight fitting top on and her stomach was protruding...and her belly button was sticking out at least a half inch". It was obvious she was pregnant. As a matter of fact she was seven months pregnant! When he told Cindy that Casey looked pregnant she replied, "No, she's not. She's just putting on weight". When Rick brought it up again Cindy said, "Casey told us that she'd have to have sex first in order to have a baby and that she did not have sex with anyone". Let me just remind you that Cindy Anthony is a nurse. A nurse in denial, but none the less, a nurse. A nurse that should be able to tell if someone is seven months pregnant. There are so many red flags that should have been raised over the years. Too bad Cindy is still in denial where Casey is concerned. She denies the truth. Somewhere in her mind she probably fears that Caylee may be deceased but you can bet your bottom dollar that she will not believe that Casey is the one responsible for it. After all, that's a bitter pill to swallow.

I'll admit that I've told some lies in my life, sometimes whoppers and I knew someone that I would call a habitual liar. But never in my life have I heard so many lies from one person. It is out of this world how much Casey lies. When she opens her mouth, out pops a lie. I wonder if lying becomes second nature after one has done it so long. The term Princess Liar fits her perfectly. Casey Anthony could write a book and title it, "The Lies I've Told". Actually she could write it in two volumes with the first being "The Lies I've Told; The Early Years". Two books of lies filled with the truth. (Would that be considered a paradox?) She wouldn't even have to lie! It would be the first time in her life that she has been completely honest about anything! Of course her lying about everything didn't happen overnight either. She's lied about Zenaida the nanny and places she's worked. Law enforcement have looked high and low for Zani the nanny but have come up empty handed. Casey has said she's worked at Sport's Authority, when she never did, and claimed to still be employed at Universal Studios as an event planner long after being fired. She's even been arrested for providing false information to law enforcement. Those are only a few.
All of this is such a tragedy. This family has lost so much and no one can't begin to heal until they face the truth. It will be a long, hard journey for this family and if they make it I'll be shocked again. But I have hope.

"They Haven't Even Found the Clothes..."

I have been pondering what Leonard Padilla said a few weeks ago. In a November 18, 2008 WESH.com article Padilla states that Casey said, "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing". Padilla believes that statement was a Freudian slip on Casey's part. He believes Casey undressed Caylee before she disposed of the body somewhere.

I don't know that I necessarily translate it that way. I was thinking it wasn't a fruedian slip at all. I think Casey was trying to get a point across. What is the first thing a kidnapper does when they kidnap a child? They dispose of the clothes! A kidnapper wants to disguise a child as much as possible. I think that statement backfired on Casey. She wanted people to think that the child has actually been kidnapped. We may never know what Casey meant by those words. If Caylee is found with no clothes, then I will have to eat my words. But if Caylee is found with clothes and they're not the ones she was last seen in, then I have to believe she wanted to try and support her story that Zenaida took her.

"She would drop little statements like that when she was being driven to the attorney's office and when she was being driven back when she was with Tracy," Padilla said.

"In the first information released regarding the 10 days Padilla spent with Anthony, he said her remarks rebutted what was being said on TV. A lead investigator confirms that during one of those trips, Anthony blurted out "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing" about those searching for Caylee.
That investigator called Anthony’s comment "an important statement." So does Padilla.
"Everything's been a game to her. That statement they haven't even found the clothes yet leads us to believe the clothing were somewhere but not in proximity of the body," Padilla said."

Casey Anthony, Lost Numbers, & Juliette Lewis

I was watching Nancy Grace tonight and they were speaking about the Internet searches done on the Anthony's computer. One of them was "lost numbers". They were discussing the possibility that "lost numbers" may have something to do with all the phone numbers she didn't seem to have. They were all "lost" within the cell phone that Casey said she lost. I believe she said it was a blackjack phone. (??) I googled the term "lost numbers" and came up with the TV show "Lost". The lost numbers are 4 8 15 16 23 42 which are a recurring theme on "Lost". After viewing that I believe there isn't anything suspicious about that search on the Anthony's computer. Casey Anthony is probably just a big fan of "Lost". What I did notice is Elizabeth Mitchell plays the role of Juliet Burke and Rebecca Mader plays the role of Charlotte Lewis. Casey named a "Juliette Lewis" as an outcry witness; a person that she told that Caylee was missing (before telling Law Enforcement) who should be able to confirm Casey's story, however, no Juliette Lewis has been found and has never worked at Universal Studios as Casey had said. Could Casey have used the name "Juliette Lewis" because she is a fan of the actress by the same name, or could she have put together the "Juliet" and "Lewis" from "Lost"? Am I reaching? Whos knows? It's been speculated that she's put names together in the past to use in her lies.

Caylee Anthony's Minnie Mouse Costume Dress

Both of these photos are of Caylee Marie Anthony. In one she is wearing the Disney dress which is the topic of a lot of squabbling. Here's the cliff's notes version: During one of the searches for Caylee, a Minnie Mouse dress was found near the airport. It got leaked, Nancy Grace caught wind, and the topic was raised on the Nancy Grace show. It was announced that said dress was a size 6. It was also raised that and concluded on the show that a size 6 would fit a 3-year-old. Wow....must be a huge 3-year-old! At the time Caylee disappeared she wasn't quite three yet, so she more than likely wore a 2T or 3T. Anyway, I even saw a post on a forum (unnamed) saying that Disney's costumes are sized big and they also shrink. Jeez....what are these costumes made of?.....wool!?! I think not. The smallest size I found that this dress comes in is a size "12 Months". I suppose after that shrinks it would fit an embryo. Using Disney's costume size chart, a size 12M would fit a 9-12 mos child that is 26-29" tall with a weight of 18-22 lbs. The size "6" would fit a 5-6 yr old child that is 45-48" tall with a weight of 43-50 lbs. This size fits a 5-6 year old child and Caylee was bearly three weighing 35 lbs when she went missing. Also, take a look at the pictures above. Caylee at almost three and then a much smaller baby Caylee wearing the infamous Minnie Mouse Costume!! Baby Caylee looks just a little over a year old in that photo! No way is that a size 6. In all likelihood Caylee's dress is a size 18M which fits a child 29-31"inches tall weighing between 22-26 lbs.

Caylee's dress was found tucked away in her closet. I read posts that state George or Cindy Anthony could have purchased a new Minnie Mouse dress and are trying to pass it off as the original. Give me a break! Those guys can't even take a leak without someone knowing about it!

People want the dress that was found to be Caylee's because they want answers. Everybody wants answers....but trying to make something "fit" when it doesn't is the wrong answer. I rest my case....for the time being, that is.

Cindy Anthony - Obstruction of Justice??

As Sir Walter Scott said “Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive”. It seems that the web of lies is getting more tangled as time goes by.
When law enforcement asked Cindy Anthony for Caylee's hairbrush for DNA analysis, Cindy gave them Casey's hairbrush instead. In an email from
Larry Garrison (ex-Anthony family spokesperson) to Cindy Anthony he asked her why she gave the authorities Casey's hairbrush instead of Caylee's. In her Friday, November 20, 2008 reply to his email she wrote, "I never lied I just never went to my bathroom to get the hairbrush that I used only for Caylee".
How can that not be a lie? A lie is a deception. It doesn't have to be untrue words coming out of someone's mouth. One of dictionary.com's definitions of a lie is "something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture"
As I see it, Casey's hairbrush is an imposture!! And what about Cindy laundering the pants found in the Pontiac that Casey drove? She washed those "because of the odor". Makes one wonder if anything else stain-wise was on those pants. She also laundered Casey's clothes that were left at Casey's boyfriend's (Tony Lazarro) apartment. Why did she do that? Did those smell, too? I think not. So now that she has purposely handed over the wrong hairbrush, it makes people suspect of everything else that she has done. If nothing else her credibility is in the dumper now.
So, will Cindy be held liable for her deceptions? Will she be charged with some kind of evidence tampering, withholding, or obstruction of justice? Maybe law enforcement will have mercy on her. Time will only tell.
One last note: I do feel bad for George and Cindy Anthony. They didn't ask for any of this. Whether or not they're good parents is beside the point. There are lots of terrible parents out there and their children grow up to be better people than Casey. Casey is an adult and when you become an adult you have to solve your own problems no matter who in the past may have caused them.

Caylee & Casey Anthony Case - 700+ Pages of Discovery Released

700+ pages of discovery were released on November 26, 2008 in the Caylee/Casey Anthony case. I've been somewhat following this case. The only place I've found copies of these documents is on http://www.myfoxorlando.com/.
I would like to read through these documents, but when I click on the thumbnails to enlarge the pages they're still hardly large enough to read....bummer. Hopefully these documents will be available on another web site soon so I'll be able to read them. Maybe they already are somewhere but I haven't found them yet. If anyone knows where these documents are that are large enough to read, please let me know. Thanks.

UPDATE: I found the latest discovery documents that were released on 11/26/08 on http://www.cfnews13.com and they are pdfs so they can be increased in size making them easily readable.

Naming My Blog

I've wanted to start my own blog for ages. Part of the hesitation to do so has been because of time restrictions, over-extending myself, concern over topics, the thought that nobody will even read it, etc... Then I decided that it would be a good cathartic exercise to put my thoughts down on paper, so to speak.

My next speedbump was trying to come up with a name for my blog. Everything I tried was already taken. I knew I would have to come up with something "off the wall". After numerous attempts I finally came up with "Tower of Blogger" and it was available. I don't know how obvious it is but it is supposed to be a play on words for the "Tower of Babel" which of course is from the story in the book of Genesis in the Bible where mankind were building a tower to heaven to become equal to God. I'm not trying to build a blog tower that will reach up to cyber-heaven by any means. The reason I stuck with "Tower of Blogger" is because of the end result of God making the people speak in different languages which ultimately led to the end of the tower and their dispersal across the earth because of their confusion and inability to communicate.

That's where I come in. There are a lot of things I'm confused about. Maybe I can learn more from any feedback I may get. What better way to communicate my thoughts than through a blog? The older I get, the more I learn, and the more I learn, the more I know that I need to learn. So that's it. Here I go!
